It is important and necessary for us to know the history of our country, because without knowledge of the past there is no future. This knowledge is also necessary in order to avoid the mistakes of the past in the future. The story of the abdication of the last Russian emperor Nicholas II is interesting not only because a whole era in the history of Russia ended with it. It is also valuable because the epilogue of the Romanov dynasty sums up the evolution of a centuries-old political superstructure, forever defeated in October 1917. This makes everything that concerns the process of renunciation itself up to its small details interesting.
