It includes biographical information about twenty-one scientists, starting with 18th-century oxygen discoverers - Karl Scheele, Joseph Priestley and Antoine Lavoisier - and ending with modern scientists - Mario Molina, Sherwood Rowland and Paul Krutzen - 1995 Nobel Prize winners in chemistry.
