More than half a century ago, at the height of the Cold War, by a government decree, one of the Soviet military submarines was decommissioned and converted for scientific research. She was given the name "Severyanka." For the first time in the world, the submarine began to serve exclusively the goals of science. Vladimir Agage, a ufologist with thirty years of experience, a retired submarine officer, and his colleagues had a chance to fulfill what Jules Verne and other science fiction writers only dreamed of - through the windows of the submarine to look into the secrets of the deep sea.
