Hinduism - the traditional religion of India, one of the oldest in the world - is called the "parliament of religions." In many ways, it is strikingly different from the Christianity we are used to. Indeed, Hinduism is a motley and bizarre mixture of diverse beliefs, myths, rituals, theological constructions, philosophical insights, social precepts, behavioral norms, and more. This mixture at first glance seems chaotic, but it is combined into an indissoluble organic whole with deep semantic connections.
