A world similar to the Earth of the very end of the 16th century. An empire similar to the Habsburg empire. A large colony of the Empire, similar to Spanish America. Dorant, a former military man, earns money after his resignation by solving a variety of problems that arise from influential people. Having received the order of the government structure, on which the fate of the Empire depends, he comes to the provincial city of the colony. The lands adjacent to the city border the mysterious and dangerous Alvi forest, where ferocious alves live - and Dorant's assignment is connected with their habitat. He will inevitably have to face the alves - and how will this clash end?
