The monograph studies social through biographies and biographical as a social construct. Appeal to biographical interviews is a common research practice, however, in the domestic sociological literature on qualitative methods there are no publications devoted exclusively to the problems of a full cycle of biographical research. The novelty of the monograph's approach in theoretical terms lies in the author's "narrative" position (narrative identity as a product of an autobiographical story) and in structural terms - in the coverage of the full cycle of biographical research: from setting the task of biographical research to its implementation. For social researchers of a wide profile (sociologists, ethnographers, anthropologists, cultural scientists), as well as for students who master a qualitative approach in sociology.
